تناولت الفعالية جهود أذربيجان في مواجهة آثار تغير المناخ على المستويات الوطنية و الإقليمية و العالمية، وذلك ضمن التحضيرات لمؤتمر COP29 المزمع عقده في باكو خلال شهر نوفمبر الجاري. كما تم تسليط الضوء على الأضرار البيئية و الموارد الطبيعية التي تسببت بها أرمينيا في الأراضي الأذربيجانية المحتلة على مدى سنوات طويلة.

و أشير خلال الفعالية إلى أهمية إعلان عام 2024 “عام التضامن من أجل عالم أخضر”، بناءً على مرسوم الرئيس إلهام علييف، و تم استعراض الأنشطة غير القانونية التي قام بها الاحتلال الأرمني، بما في ذلك استغلال الموارد الطبيعية و الإرهاب البيئي في الأراضي المحتلة سابقًا، و التي ظلت تحت سيطرة الاحتلال لما يقرب من 30 عامًا. شارك في الفعالية التي نظمها المجمع حوالي 100 معلم و طالب، حيث جرى تعزيز الوعي بأهمية حماية البيئة و العمل من أجل مستقبل أكثر استدامة.

 عُقدت ندوة إلكترونية بعنوان «الفساد و تأثيره على المجتمع» بتنظيم مشترك من قبل مجمع النصب التذكاري للإبادة الجماعية بمدينة قوبا ومحمية «جيراغ قلعة–شابران» التاريخية والثقافية الحكومية، التابعين لدائرة الدولة لحماية التراث الثقافي و تطويره وترميمه لدى وزارة الثقافة.18 يونيو 2026
