Participant of the 43rd Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, Department Director at “Simon Visente Center” in Los Angeles, USA, visited the “Genocide Memorial Complex” in Guba city. During his visit director of the Complex doctor of historical sciences (PhD) Rachshanda Bayramova welcomed the guest and acquainted him with the one of the most tragic genocides of the XX century, informed him about massacre admitted by Bolshevik-Armenian armed formations in Baku, Guba, Shamakha, Goychay, Javad, Salyan, Karabakh, Zangezur, Naxchivan, Lankaran and other regions of Azerbaijan, also destroyed and set on fire more than thousand villages there. She noted that only in April-May, 1918 in the Guba region 167 villages were destroyed underwent marauding and the fires, there was punishment over Muslims and partly the Jewish population.
