On the night of August 27-28, 1992, Armenian bandits brutally killed 24 Azerbaijani IDPs from Lachin region and temporarily settled in Balligaya village of Goranboy region, and wounded 9 others. Among those killed were six minors, including a 6-month-old baby, and three minors lost both parents. The bodies of some of the killed civilians were burned.
