Azərbaycan-Gürcüstan "Gənclər həftəsi" çərçivəsində Qubada keçirilən "Azərbaycan-Gürcüstan gənclərinin II beynəlxalq düşərgəsi"nin iştirakçıları Soyqırımı Memorial Kompleksini ziyarət etmişlər. Ziyarətçilərə bildirilmişdir ki, 2007-ci ildə Quba şəhərində aparılan qazıntılar zamanı kütləvi məzarlığın aşkar olunması ermənilərin xalqımıza qarşı həyata keçirdiyi 1918-ci il soyqırımın bariz sübutu olmuşdur.

On July 25, 2025, within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Georgia "Youth Week", participants of the 2nd International Camp of Azerbaijani and Georgian Youth held in Quba visited the Genocide Memorial Complex. During the visit, the guests were informed that the discovery of a mass grave during excavations carried out in Quba city in 2007 served as compelling evidence of the 1918 genocide committed by Armenians against the Azerbaijani people.

Bu həqiqətlərin dünya ictimaiyyətinə çatdırılması, Azərbaycan xalqının milli yaddaşının qorunması və həlak olan on minlərlə azərbaycanlının xatirəsinin əbədiləşdirilməsi məqsədilə cənab Prezident İlham Əliyevin 30 dekabr 2009- cu il tarixli sərancamı, Heydər Əliyev fondunun təşəbbüsü təşəbbüsü ilə Quba şəhərində “Soyqırımı Memorial Kompleksi” yaradılmışdır.
