في 17 أكتوبر، بدأ ندوة دولي حول العلاقات التركية-الروسية بتنظيم مشترك من جامعة إيجه، "مجمع النصب التذكاري للإبادة الجماعية" في قوبا، محمية قوبوستان الوطنية التاريخية و الفنية، المركز العلمي الإقليمي في لنكران، معهد دراسات العالم التركي بجامعة إيجه، جامعة السياحة و الإدارة في أذربيجان، جامعة أذربيجان، فرع شماخي لجامعة أذربيجان الحكومية التربوية، و أكاديمية الجمارك الحكومية في أذربيجان. يهدف هذا الحدث العلمي إلى تعزيز الشراكة الاستراتيجية و العلاقات الودية بين البلدين، و تطوير الروابط العلمية و الثقافية. يُذكر أن ندوة سيستمر لمدة ثلاثة أيام.

شارك في ندوة علماء و باحثون بارزون من الأوساط الأكاديمية في تركيا و أذربيجان، حيث قدموا عروضًا حول موضوعات معاصرة تتعلق بالعلاقات التاريخية، السياسية، الاقتصادية و الثقافية.

خلال مراسم افتتاح ندوة، ألقت الدكتورة رخشنده بايراموفا، مديرة “مجمع النصب التذكاري للإبادة الجماعية” في قوبا، كلمة رحبت فيها بالمشاركين و تحدثت عن أهمية ندوة. و تناولت العلاقات التركية-الروسية في السياق التاريخي، قضايا الأمن الإقليمي، التعاون في مجال الطاقة، و التنمية الاقتصادية. كما تحدثت العالمة و المؤرخة عن الروابط العميقة القائمة على التاريخ المشترك بين أذربيجان و تركيا، مشيرة إلى دورها الكبير في استعادة العدالة التاريخية و الحفاظ على الموروث المشترك بين البلدين. و أكدت الدكتورة بايراموفا على الأهمية الخاصة للمعالم التاريخية، مثل “مجمع النصب التذكاري للإبادة الجماعية” في قوبا، في ذاكرة الشعبين، و على دور مثل هذه ندوة في نشر الحقائق التاريخية على نطاق واسع.

كما تناول ندوة مستقبل الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين البلدين، التبادل الثقافي، و آفاق التعاون العلمي المشترك.
