بناءً على المرسوم الصادر عن رئيس جمهورية أذربيجان، السيد إلهام علييف، بإعلان عام 2024 “عام التضامن من أجل العالم الأخضر” في بلدنا، و بالتزامن مع التحضيرات لاستضافة حدث COP-29 الدولي، نظّمت وزارة البيئة و الثروات الطبيعية، بالتعاون مع خدمة تنمية الغابات – المركز الإقليمي الخامس لإدارة الغابات، و مجمع النصب التذكاري لـ”الإبادة الجماعية” في مدينة قوبا، حملة لغرس الأشجار بالقرب من المجمع. شارك في الحملة أكثر من 25 موظفًا من كلا المؤسستين، حيث تم غرس حوالي 40 شجرة دائمة الخضرة من نوع التويا الصنوبري.

 عُقدت ندوة إلكترونية بعنوان «الفساد و تأثيره على المجتمع» بتنظيم مشترك من قبل مجمع النصب التذكاري للإبادة الجماعية بمدينة قوبا ومحمية «جيراغ قلعة–شابران» التاريخية والثقافية الحكومية، التابعين لدائرة الدولة لحماية التراث الثقافي و تطويره وترميمه لدى وزارة الثقافة.18 يونيو 2026
