وذلك تكريسا للذكرى السنوية لليوم 31 مارس مجزرة الأذربيجانيين.
وزار المشاركون في البداية تمثال الزعيم القومي العام حيدر علييف وسط مدينة قوبا ووضعوا باقات من الزهور أمامه.
ثم زاروا مجمع مجازر قوبا التذكاري واحيطوا علما واسعا بالمجازر التى إرتكبها القومييون الأرمن ضد الشعب الآذربيجانى في المنطقة.
حيث اكتشاف مقابر جماعية أثناء أعمال الإنشاء والبناء المقامة بمدينة قوبا عام 2007م قد سلط ضوء غليظا آخر على أهوال إبادة مارس التي نفذها الأرمن ضد الشعب الأذربيجاني. والدلائل المادية المكتشفة والوثائق قد أثبتت للمرة التالية أن نطاق وجغرافيا الأعمال الدموية التي ارتكبها القوميون الأرمن خلال شهري مارس وأبريل عام 1918م والفترات التالية أوسع بكثير وأن عدد ضحايا المأساة أكثر بأضعاف مضاعفة.
