На мероприятии обсудили усилия, предпринимаемые нашей страной на национальном, региональном и глобальном уровнях в рамках борьбы с последствиями изменения климата, которые будут представлены на COP29, намеченном на ноябрь текущего года в Баку. Также была затронута тема ущерба, нанесенного окружающей среде и природным ресурсам на протяжении многих лет оккупации Азербайджанских территорий Арменией.

Кроме того, участникам рассказали о сути указа Президента Азербайджанской Республики Ильхама Алиева, провозглашающего 2024 год «Годом солидарности во имя зеленого мира». В рамках мероприятия была предоставлена информация о незаконной деятельности, эксплуатации природных ресурсов и экологическом терроре, осуществлявшихся на наших территориях, находившихся под армянской оккупацией почти 30 лет.
В мероприятии, организованном Мемориальным Комплексом, приняли участие около 100 учителей и учащихся.
