В связи с «Годом Гейдара Алиева» и 105-й годовщиной геноцида азербайджанцев Мемориальный Комплекс Геноцида продолжает серию мероприятий. Очередное мероприятие на тему «Деятельность великого лидера Гейдара Алиева в направлении признания геноцида, совершенного против азербайджанцев в 1918 году» состоялось в Центре Гейдара Алиева города Кюрдемир.

В мероприятии приняли участие руководители и сотрудники Кюрдамирского Регионального Управления Культуры, Историко-Краеведческого Музея, Картинной Галереи и Централизованной Библиотечной системы. Выступавшие в своих докладах отметили, что подписанный общенациональным лидером Гейдаром Алиевым 26 марта 1998 года указ «О геноциде азербайджанцев» является важным документом в направлении признания этих геноцидов. В завершение участникам мероприятия были вручены книги и буклеты, содержащие факты геноцида.
