A training session titled "Development of Professional Guiding Skills in the Tourism Industry" was held with the support of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organized by the Guba Regional Tourism Department for representatives of the tourism industry. The training was conducted with the aim of promoting the development of tourism and training professional guides in the region.

In the next phase of collaboration between the “Genocide Memorial Complex” and the Quba branch of the State Archive of the Republic of Azerbaijan, staff members from the Scientific Research, Exhibition, and Fund Department of the Complex—Ulkar Zeynalova, Islam Aslanov, and Emin Ulubayov—initiated research at the Quba Archive Office on the topic “The Quba Region During the Repression Years” (1930s–1940s).

As part of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World,” another tree-planting campaign was carried out on November 14, 2024, within the territory of the Genocide Memorial Complex. Employees of the complex participating in the campaign planted around 10 climate-appropriate fruit trees.

In Guba, under the initiative of the leadership of the “Genocide Memorial Complex” and in line with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, declaring 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World,” as well as in celebration of Flag Day on November 9, 15 employees of the Complex raised the Azerbaijani flag on a peak located 1,500 meters above sea level along the Susay-Khinalig road in the Guba district.

9 Noyabr Bayraq Günü münasibətilə Soyqırımı Memorial Kompleksinin Bayraq Meydanında Quba rayonu Birinci Nügədi kəndi Z.Kərimov adına 1 saylı tam orta məktəbinin aşağı sinif şagirdləri iştirakı ilə tədbir keçirilmişdir. Keçirilən ədəbi-bədii kompazisiyada şagirdlər tərəfindən Bayraq, Vətən haqqında şeir və müsiqilər səsləndirilmişdir.

These exhibitions showcased the past and present states of monuments located in the liberated territories of the Karabakh region.

The Guba History and Ethnography Museum, in collaboration with the “Genocide Memorial Complex,” organized an event in Guba titled “Our Glorious Victory” in honor of Victory Day. The event aimed to highlight the significance of the historic triumph achieved in the Patriotic War and to commemorate the heroes who fought for Azerbaijan’s independence.

In the general education institutions of Guba city, an event titled “A Sustainable and Enduring Future” was organized by the Genocide Memorial Complex in anticipation of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which Azerbaijan will host. The event covered Azerbaijan’s efforts at national, regional, and global levels to combat the impacts of climate change, especially in light of COP29, which will be held in Baku this November. Additionally, the event highlighted the extensive environmental and natural resource damage inflicted by Armenia over many years in Azerbaijan’s formerly occupied territories.

On October 30, 2024, a joint event titled “Fighting Corruption: United Steps Towards Transparency and Justice” was organized by the Guba District Centralized Library System and the Genocide Memorial Complex under the theme “Say No to Corruption.”
